Synod House History

The Synod House in Tampa

The Synod House at 3838 West Cypress in Tampa, Florida was built in 1966 by the Florida Synod of the former Lutheran Church in America, with the front entrance on Cypress St.

In 1975 the building was expanded and the front entrance moved to the side where a new reception area and chapel were added along with a new workroom, kitchen, large conference room and additional offices.  In 2003, the Synod House was given a facelift with a new coat of paint, changing the color from white and brown to cream and sea moss green.
