Revisions to the Model Constitution for Congregations were approved at the 2011 Churchwide Assembly in Orlando this past August. Congregation Councils are encouraged to appoint a committee to revise the congregation’s constitution following revisions made by the Churchwide Assembly.
The Congregation Council may appoint a committee of 2-3 individuals to the task of updating the constitution.
