Organist/pianist and/or choir director We are blessed with a new
church building and a growing congregation in a thriving neighborhood.
The organist will be responsible for prelude, postlude, offertory,
liturgical accompaniment, hymns, and incidental music. A bachelor’s
degree in music or related field is preferred. The instruments are a two
manual Ahlborn-Galanti electronic organ with MIDI and Baldwin grand
piano. The choir director will work with the Pastor and church
leadership in developing the music program of the church, direct a
year-round choir that reflects the seasonal nature of SW FL, and see
that musical leadership is present for all regular and special worship
services. We are seeking musician(s) with a passion for traditional
liturgical worship as in the Lutheran, Episcopal or Roman Catholic
communities. The musicians will be responsible for introducing
Evangelical Lutheran Worship, the new worship resource of the ELCA and
developing a high quality music program. The congregation sees the music
program as being important to its mission. We are seeking musicians that
will lead the congregation for 3-5 years. There is interest in
developing a hand bell and children’s choirs as well as high quality

Part-time organist/choir director

Position: Director of Youth
Ministries (P/T position – approximately 20 hours per week) Summary:
Works with an adult volunteer committee to organize spiritual, service,
and fellowship activities for the youth of the congregation. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities: • In conjunction with youth committee,
annually reviews and revises the youth vision and mission to ensure that
the youth ministry’s goals align with the overall church’s vision,
mission, goals, and core values • Clearly communicates the approved
youth vision, mission, and goals • Recruits and coaches volunteer
leaders to help obtain youth goals • Leads the youth committee by
empowering team members and delegating as appropriate • Collaborates and
co-leads various activities with the other leaders in overlapping
programs areas • Oversees the planning and implementation of spiritual
growth programs, activities and events that include opportunities for
youth to worship, fellowship with each other, and learn biblical truths
and apply them to their lives • Plans programs, activities or events,
developing youth who want to reach out and serve others, impacting them
with the love of Christ (student leadership) • Involves students in the
ministry of the church as a whole, supporting and participating in the
church’s vision, worship services, and activities • Fosters spiritual
and social growth in the youth. • Develops and implements outreach
programs, activities, and events • Continuously evaluates the youth
