Lenten Visits and
Discipleship Days
Every year during Lent, the Bishop of
the Florida-Bahamas Synod, along with many of his staff members, travels
around the synod to host a day of worship, learning, and community
building.
At the beginning and heart of the day is
the Bishop’s Chrism Eucharist: A Celebration of Holy Communion that
includes the renewal of ordination and commissioning vows and the
blessing of oil to be used in our synod’s congregations.
More information for Lent 2009 will
be available in December 2008.
