Let it be known to all that the 5^th Annual Synod Deacon Retreat will be held on October 16 and 17, 2009 at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 8401 W. Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, FL 33615.

Be it known that the whole Community of the Synod Diaconate is invited to attend this Retreat. The Diaconate Community consists of All Synod Deacons, All Candidates in training, All Nominees (those persons who have expressed an interest in the Synod Deacon program), All Pastors of those persons who are part of the Diaconate Community, and All Spouses.

This is the one time each year that the Community has an opportunity to gather for devotion, education, and fellowship. This is also the one time in the year that Candidates can complete one of their training requirements.
