Dear Sisters in Christ,

Your work and donations made 2009 another remarkable year for Lutheran World Relief (LWR)!  Your gifts of quilts, layettes, health, school, and sewing kits, blankets, sweaters, and soap were distributed to 27 different countries.  You contributed over 36,000 pounds of these much needed basics bringing hope and dignity to thousands of children, women and men throughout the world.

To aid you in your preparations for the 2010 collection, please note that the LWR Pickup Information and the LWR Congregational Unit Report have been provided on our Florida-Bahamas SWO website.  In an effort to save postage, 2010 LWR packets will NOT be mailed to churches this year.  Instead, a postcard will be mailed to direct you to the Lutheran World Relief website: www.lwr.org/beinvolved.
