The members of Apostles reaching out to the FishHawk community of Brandon where no ELCA worship or ministry is provided. Apostles will establish group centers for mutual support and Bible study.
Provide training within the conference to build inter-congregation relationships and prepare churches to develop conference/cluster-wide mission strategies by building on the strengths and gifts of each congregation.
An outdoor area for feeding the community’s body and soul. Fresh vegetables and herbs will be distributed by the food pantry. Meditation fountain will be a constant reminder of baptism.
A weekly program for persons with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease that will provide an opportunity to improve their quality of life, as well as, that of their caregivers and family.
A ministry partnership with Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal, Unity Church of Citrus County, House of Power, and House of Peace to feed and clothe the needy. Project will improve infrastructure and equipment to better serve growing needs.
Providing congregations support and access to current demographic data for increased ministry effectiveness to the community.
