Results
Following his reelection at the 2007 Assembly of the Florida-Bahamas Synod,
Bishop Edward R. Benoway began a Synod wide conversation regarding the mission
and ministry of the Florida-Bahamas Synod. This conversation included several
components, including private discussions with each of the other candidates for
bishop; meetings with colleague gatherings in each of our fifteen conferences; a
group conversation involving rostered leaders at the 2007 Conference on
Ministry; and a Mission and Ministry Response Survey that was widely distributed
throughout our synod to congregations, lay leaders and pastors.
Below, you will find a brief summary of these conversations, meetings, and
surveys. A special thanks to all who participated in this conversation and
