February 27-28, 2012, Dr. Marcus Miller and Bishop Benoway will lead a Spiritual Renewal retreat at Luther Springs.

Dr. Marcus Miller, President of Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary (LTSS), will join Bishop Edward Benoway at Luther Springs on Monday, February 27 and Tuesday, February 28, 2012 to provide a special time of spiritual renewal and interactive workshop on preaching the lectionary texts for the upcoming Easter season.

This early Lent retreat begins with dinner together at 7:00 p.m. on February 27. After dinner, Bishop Benoway will preside at Holy Communion and Dr. Miller will share a brief homily. Participants will then enjoy informal fellowship and conversation.   

After breakfast on Tuesday, Dr. Miller will lead participants in examining the lectionary texts for the Easter season. The retreat will conclude with lunch at noon.

This retreat is being offered at no cost through the generosity of a friend of Luther Springs. However, there is a $25 tuition charge if continuing education credits are desired from LTSS.
