Leadership Development

5 Marks of Evangelical Leaders

The purpose of these Marks is to provide a framework to encourage all the leaders in the Florida-Bahamas Synod to walk, learn and grow together through our common faith and values. Coursework, Workshops, Seminars, and other learning and growing opportunities are listed within each of these Marks along with an expanded description of the Mark itself. Courses may touch on one or several of the Marks, however you will find it identified under the Mark that it most strongly connects with.

Nurturing partnerships to support one another in life, ministry and mission.

Making Disciples

Learning to live and replicate the servant way of Christ.

Building Relational Maturity

Consistent practice of positive personal and professional habits reflecting healthy life together in our families, church and community.

Missional Leadership

Leading the church to be clearly focused on the mission of Christ for the sake of the world.

Spiritual and Theological Formation

An ever-deepening relationship with God- Father, Son and Holy Spirit-informed by the Lutheran theological tradition-as the center of our daily life and our motivation for mission.
