Mission Support (Stewardship)

The gifts of benevolence given annually to the Synod by its congregations make a significant difference in thousands of lives, not just those living in Florida and the Bahamas, but in the lives of people around the world. The Florida-Bahamas Synod's  budget is $3.4 million dollars. 49 percent of these gifts have remained in the Synod working to fund an array of ministries in these areas: outreach; evangelism and service; nurturing, education, and fellowship; and administration and organization. 51 percent of the gifts are the Synod's benevolence gift to ELCA churchwide organization, and these gifts fund ministries around the world.
